yesterday was Dallas.. best show of the tour so far.. most bands agreed, it was packed and there was an amazing vibe everywhere you looked. I saw Anti-Flag for the first time in my life and I think i’ve finally found a new favorite band. And just in time, I was begining to lose faith. Hung out with Chiodos kids again last night, some of the Versa Emerge camp and some parking lot stragglers that were awesome. I promised myself I wouldn’t drink again but see me and myself don’t have the most trustworthy relationship. It was tons of fun, that we both have to agree on. So I got back to my bunk and listened to this audiobook “A Short History of Nearly Everything” by Bill Bryson. It’s amazing.. basically a brief recap of how the planet was formed, the evolution of species, the universe, disease, etc. riveting.. then I checked my emails before i went to sleep and read a massive hate mail about my previous blog which made me wonder why I even do what I do.. seems like people will always find something to be pissed about and make damn sure you know theyre pissed. for the record, the kid in question from the jeffree star night is totally and completely fine and cool (i would never have fun with a serious issue like that so i made sure it was all good before I even brought it up). i would hope most of you know me enough by now to know i’m not a shitty person. But whatever, some people will always find time to hate.
I for one want to focus on the positive and that is warped. i’m having the best time i’ve ever had on tour and feeling closer to my band than i’ve ever felt and maajor things are happening for us and we feel just plain lucky. so thanks again to all who support ML, we owe you our lives!
